TOP 5 CELLPHONE (Rs 10,000- Rs 15000): JANUARY 2014(UPDATE FEB 2014)

The year of 2014 is here and it's time to buy a new cellphone for some. As usual, it is really difficult to choose which phone to buy when the market is filled with cellphones from many brands. So to help you guys decide which cellphone to buy, here is a list of cellphones which according to me are the best bets for there price at this moment of time i.e. January 2014. This list contains cellphones priced between INR 10k-15k. That translates to around 200 USD. This list, according to me, suits most needs the best but is not perfect for all of you as different people have different needs. So to decide which phone to get read my post about the things to look in a new cellphone. Moving on, lets jump into the list of the best cellphones.

Update:

The Motorola Moto G is the best buy in the 13k-14k price bracket with amazing specifications and a reliable brand.

BEST CELLPHONES:

10-11k:

1) 10-10.5k:

The best cellphone in this range is the Karbonn Titanium S5 plus. The highlight specifications are:
  • 1.3 GHz Quad-Core Processor(Cortex A7)
  • 8 MP primary camera VGA secondary camera
  • 5 inch qHD display at 220 ppi.
  • Android 4.2 Jellybean

The best cellphone in this range is the Intex Aqua i5. The main specifications are:

1) 12-12.5:

The Celkon A119Q is the best phone available right now in this price range. The main specifications are:

The best alternatives are the Samsung Galaxy Core and the Sony Xperia M. The only thing is that you need to decide between NFC or dual sim. Personally, the best would be to go with the dual sim version the of Xperia M which would just a bit more because it's worth  just because it has NFC. The prices and specs are:

2) 12.5-13k:

Just save yourself  some money and go with the previous category.
The products at this price are not worth the price.

13-14K:

The Micromax Canvas Magnus A117 is the best cellphone in this price bracket. It has some very good specs and performance is quite good. :

14-15k:

The Karbonn Titanium S7 is the best cellphone in this budget. The key feature is the Full HD panel and the 1.5 Ghz quad-core processor. This handset is really nice only con being the weak battery life. Check this cellphone out on Flipkart.

Alternative:
