SuperBeam : A faster way of transferring data

Continuing from the previous post, today I am going to tell you about an android application that let's you transfer data between two devices over wireless network. It is an application called SuperBeam. It is a wifi-direct app with fast transfer speeds, much faster than sending a file over Bluetooth. It can send files over the same wireless network from one device t another. Not only this, the user interface of the application is super simple. Let's go through the steps of setting up and using the app.

It is really simple to send and receive files over SuperBeam. If  the other user also has SuperBeam, it is simple enough. By simply scanning a barcode, any file can be transferred from one device to another.

If the other device has no SuperBeam, then also it is quite easy to transfer files. Both the devices need to be on the same wireless network. The receiving device can simple browse to the URL mentioned in the application and download the file. There is no need of an active Internet connection for the same.

You have the options for setting up WIFI Hotspots for the easy transfer of files.

The transfer speeds, at 20mbps, are very high as compared to Bluetooth. Thus this application is a really useful one especially for those people who need to transfer large files frequently.
